PRIMEXL has developed a specific program on Managing Fatigue to help participants identify and recognise how fatigue can impact and impair their safety.  The program encourages employees to take personal responsibility by developing personal strategies to manage their fatigue in alignment with organisational policies.

The program addresses:

  • Personal and organisational costs of fatigue
  • Shift work and its potential problems
  • Understanding the sleep cycle and the importance of different types of sleep for physical and psychological recuperation
  • Effects of sleep loss on alertness, performance and safety
  • Ways to improve the quantity and quality of sleep
  • Circadian rhythms and impact on alertness and safety
  • Strategies to maximise alertness while on shift

Nationally Accredited Training

This program can run as an individual session or as part of our Nationally Accredited Fitness for Work program.
